How do you feel emerging from this eclipse portal? It’s been a wild one!

🚪 As a reminder, eclipses are doorways for fated events, growth, and deeply meaningful transformation. The energy may feel chaotic, but it’s meant to shake us up so we can land on more divine, aligned paths.

This is a reminder I’ve been repeating to myself over the past few weeks because DAYUM it’s been a doozy! 😅

I just wrapped up my first retreat at my Dea Magia property here in coastal North Carolina and WOW: without a doubt I stepped through a doorway and was able to glimpse the new reality I’m crafting with my work! 🌀

But in true cosmic chaos fashion, getting there wasn’t easy.

⚒️ Not only was I preparing for the retreat itself, but I was going to have 9 people living with me for 5 days so I had to finish up the property I have been working to build over the past 10 months.

And y’all: there was a point where I wasn’t certain it would get done. 😬

🖼️ To paint you a picture, I have 7.5 acres that include my main house, an above garage apartment, a camp-style bathroom built in the lower garage, a sleeping cottage, an in-ground pool, plus a 1,200 square foot Esoerotic Temple that serves as the movement ritual space.

As a single woman who has rented apartments my entire adult life, this was a monster undertaking with lots of “opportunities for learning”. 😂

🙈 And as of the week before, I still hadn’t passed inspections, electricity wasn’t connected, plumbing was failing, air units weren’t yet installed, and I had a shit ton of decorating to do.

Your girl had every intention to complete the property by mid-August, but it felt like anything that could go wrong did.

But in the midst of the chaos and a few days before the retreat was slated to begin I had a profound realization: I’m totally handling this shit! 🤯

In the past, I would have had a complete melt down. I would have been a hot mess freakin’ TF out. 🫠

But instead, I just stayed present and kept moving. “Keep calm and carry on”, if you will. 🤓 And you know what: it all got done. 🙌

And I truly recognized that THIS is the embodiment of our work as somatic guides. 👏 It's not the dance sequences, the breathwork prompts, or the sensual flows. Those are merely our tools and techniques, but it’s how these tools and techniques serve us beyond their immediate expression that make them so dang magickal.

When we devote ourselves to our somatic practices we experience internal shifts that allow us to manage our emotions, process stress, and stay rooted through the hard times.

Because life is always going to throw us challenges!

But we can move through them with the greater presence, steadiness, and flow when our bodies have a regulated nervous system and are primed for pleasure!

Full stop!

I share this to remind you that the work you do is hugely important right now. As the world feels like a dumpster fire and nothing seems certain, we need leaders who can guide themselves and others to remain rooted in the co-creative process of building a new paradigm. 🌹
